| Information |
| Caritas "Food Corner" is one of the service units of the Catering Service, under the Caritas Hospitality Services; its net proceeds are used to subsidize the operations of Community Services of the Hong Kong Caritas. The twelve tuck shops are located inside the Caritas Medical Centre, the Caritas Social Centres and in the schools; providing services to the members of the Centres; users in the same districts, school teachers and students. |

| Professional Management |
| With more than ten years of operating Tuck Shop service, our staff members are fully aware of the needs of the users. The "Food Corner" is different from other family-run traditional tuck shops, because it is operated under professional management of an enterprise. As such, in order to improve the quality of services, the staff contacts the users and the organizations involved periodically on the evaluation of the product variety and service quality. |

| Safety and Hygiene |
Caritas "Food Corner" is very concerned about the hygiene of the food and drinks it sells. Therefore, all the food and drinks sold by the Tuck Shops can comply with and adhere to the hygiene requirements and guidelines as stipulated by the Government and Education Bureau to the Tuck Shops respectively. Besides, the Tuck Shops can only operate on the condition that they have obtained a license and permit to sell and also got the approval from the organizations concerned.
Environmental cleanliness is vital; therefore, after each selling session, the staff members clean and tidy up their selling place including tables and chairs, floors and garbage bins to ensure they are absolutely clean and hygienic. |

| Professional Staff |
| All Tuck Shops staff is directly employed by the Catering Service of the Caritas Hospitality Services. They are required to put on clean and tidy uniforms; and from time to time, they need to attend training courses which include customer service, food hygiene and personal hygiene. |

| Variety of Goods Sold |
| Caritas "Food Corner" clearly understands the spenders' rights on the choice of goods; therefore it will not only sell drinks and food from one particular supplier. At the same time, it cares about the needs of the in-patients and their family members, the Tuck Shop staff periodically liaise with the Patients' Resource Centre, apart from just supplying the daily necessities to the in-patients. |
